A legacy of innovative care for older adults
A faith-based commitment to Benevolent Care as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.
United Methodist Retirement Communities (UMRC) has been a leader in innovative care for older adults since 1906, when a group of Methodist pastors and lay leaders envisioned a way to provide a lifetime of caring and dignity for older adults. As an organization built on faith, we believe in inclusiveness and are open for all.
The UMRC Foundation was officially established in 1998 as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to serve as the fundraising arm for UMRC. With Benevolent Care as our cornerstone, the UMRC Foundation supports the faith-based mission and guiding beliefs of UMRC.
